The second volume of the “chosen” M. Bakhtin includes his works on the work of F.M. Dostoevsky - the books “Problems of the Poetics of Dostoevsky” (1963) and “Problems of Dostoevsky’s work” (1929), along with the article “To process the book about Dostoevsky”, explaining the needs of the thinker in creating the second edition of the book about Dostoevsky. Bakhtin owes its universal fame primarily the original concept of the novel by Dostoevsky, which is both a Russian version of the philosophy of dialogue at the same time.
