After the Apostle Paul, who wrote his messages in the ultrasound in the 1st century on the way to Rome - the place of the concingence of his head, a number of works were created in the procession to execution. In the XX century, they were continued by the meeting of the relatives of four interlocutors and cellmates concluded by the Solovetsky special purpose camp, executed in October-December 1937. All four are outstanding people: a priest, theologian and scientist Pavel Florensky, a professor, chemist Roman Nikolaevich Litvinov, an engineer, one of the creators of the Ural -Kuzbass plant Nikolai Yakovlevich Bryantsev and one of the creators of the Unified Hydrometeorological Service of the USSR Alexei Feodosievich Vangenheim. The letters are written in the difficult conditions of the camp, but are fulfilled by an amazing power of spirit, a sense of depth and harmony of being. They are published with extensive comments, accompanying articles and reference apparatus. Of particular importance is the species series of publication: documents and photographs about concentration camps, the nature of Solovkov, portraits of loved ones and relatives of prisoners, as well as illustrations for their stories. The second volume includes letters from May 18, 1935 to February 8, 1936
