Almost immediately after the publication of the first edition of this work, he received the blessing of the late Holiness Patriarch Alexy II. That commemorative meeting with the Patriarch gave the author of forces to continue his study and the causes of the tragic death of the royal family. That is why the current edition is significantly different from the previous ones. New sources were introduced and considered, some chapters were thoroughly worked out, a new part appeared - about attempts to save the royal family. Until now, the official version of the murder has been built exclusively on the testimony and memoirs of accomplices of the crime. Meanwhile, any criminal law specialist knows that the testimony of accomplices of the crime even against each other are not irrefutable evidence, if not supported by the testimony of other witnesses, the presence of material evidence. The analysis of these testimonies and memoirs of accomplices of the crime made it possible to doubt their truthfulness. But the resurrection of Russia itself also largely depends on the most objective assessment of the feat of the royal family.
