Ihail Vladimirovich Rodzianko was the chairman of the State Duma of the Third and Fourth convocations (from 1907 to 1917) Nicholas II accused him of the collapse of the monarchy, and Empress Alexandra Fedorovna proposed to “hang Rodzianko” along with other deputies of the Duma. In her memoirs, Rodzianko tells why he sought the renunciation of the king, which is the reasons for the conflict of the Duma with Nicholas II and Alexandra Fedorovna, with a number of Tsarist ministers, as the February Revolution occurred, and why it was not possible to preserve the monarchy in Russia. Of course, his memories are in many ways addicted, but at the same time contain many unique facts that were known only to the chairman of the State Duma
