On March 23, 1961, in London, in the famous Criminal Court of Old Bailey, the trial in the Portland case ended, the main character of which was the large Canadian businessman Gordon Lonsdale, who received the Title of the Sir from the British Queen. The name of this person then did not leave the first stripes of English and American newspapers. But only after many years it became known that under this name in England, a Soviet intelligence officer was not alerted by Colonel Konon Trofimovich Molody. This was one of the most effective links in Soviet foreign intelligence, which successfully mined the secret political, scientific, technical and military-strategic information in the most important institutions of England and military bases of the United States located on its territory. About the life and operational path of the legendary Soviet intelligence officer, his associates in reconnaissance is described in this book.
