The biographical book of Cherstin Quint, personal secretary, agent and right hand Astrid Lindgren for half a century. Cherstin was only sixteen years old, when in 1952 she crossed the threshold of the publishing house "Raben and Shegren", where Astrid worked. She began as a girl in the escape, but soon she became the executive secretary, and later, with great success, she sold the rights to books by Astrid Lindgren abroad. When in old age Astrid no longer had the strength to respond to all letters, Cherstin became her indispensable assistant.
This book is very personal memories of the life of Astrid, about friendship, about travel and meetings of Astrid with different people and much more. Cherstin says equally interestingly that Astrid Lindgren ate for breakfast and how a meeting was held with Boris Yeltsin. The book contains unique photos from the author’s personal archive
