The book offered to you is a book of memory. The memory of the outstanding musician, People"s Artist of Russia, professor of the St. Petersburg Conservatory Pavel Egorov, whose bright, dazzling life broke off, leaving many plans, plans, discoveries, and hope.
In the life of everyone who happened to contact him, he left an indelible mark. But the attitude towards him was not at all unambiguous. Someone was afraid of his fundamental, sharpness, someone annoyed a sparkling, not always political correct humor. He was too free for many, too much, some kind of "wrong." Nevertheless, for everyone who knew him, he was a completely unique, unique personality. For those who heard him in the concert halls, an amazing pianist, not like anyone. For those who were close to him and roads, a wonderful friend, an encyclopedically educated interlocutor, a cheerful and witty drinking companion, a risky driver, constantly repairing and changing cars. And a great teacher for his students.
We did not break these memories into chapters, did not tie to a specific time and place. Everything written remained as the authors wanted. Let it be free "leaflets from the album". Perhaps, scraping and reading them, someone will remember some other cases and details from his communication with an amazing person who formed for someone Pasha, for someone Pashiko, Pavlik, Publito, Pavel Grigoryevich ... There are many more those who happened to face such an unusually charismatic, outstanding person, as Pavel Egorov was.
