The book of the famous literary critic Marina Alekseevna Samarina, prepared for the 140th anniversary of Andrei Bely, is devoted to the analysis of philosophical foundations and artistic discoveries in the novels of Andrei Bely "Silver pigeon", "Petersburg" and "Kotik Letaev".
The author in detail analyzes the writer gradually forming a new concept of a person, which has acquired clear anthroposophical features at the end of the writer’s life path. This concept, in the understanding of Andrei Bely, is closely related to the problem of the future of Russia, the question of the fate of which at the time of the creation of these novels was more acute than ever. Much attention in the book is also paid to the analysis of the aesthetic finds of the writer, who, having embodied in these novels, made them a unique phenomenon in Russian literature.
