Biographies reduced in this volume together were published about a hundred years ago by separate books in the series "Life of wonderful people", implemented by F.F. Pavlenkov (1839? 1900) The genre of poetic chronicle and historical and cultural research written in the new for that time, these texts remain to this day information and energy-psychological value. Written "for ordinary people", for the Russian province, today they can be recommended not only by bibliophiles, but also by the widest reader’s audience: both those who are not at all sophisticated in the history and psychology of great people, and those for whom these objects are profession.
