The first book from the series "Small Monograph" edited by A. Sarabyanova A monograph on an outstanding painter, an influential employee of the People"s Commissariat of People"s Commissariat, one of the initiators, ideologists and the most active participants in the Futuristic Revolution in Russia. Alexander Ivanov, a student of Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin at the Zvantseva School, was at different times associated with representatives of various creative associations-from the "Union of Youth" to "Association of Communists-Artyists".
The activities of the master are an example of an active social position, which manifested against the background of global political changes, a reflection of the internal evolution of the avant -garde, connecting all the stages of an unprecedented experiment.
