The diaries of Lieutenant General Alexander Mikhailovich Sivers (1868 - after 1932) are a unique historical material. They make clarity in many details of the author"s biography. In addition, they contain the personal impressions of A. M. Sivers from communication with such prominent figures of the white movement as A. I. Denikin, A. S. Lukomsky, I.P. Romanovsky. Representatives of the Red Army - generals A. A. Baltiysky, P.P. Lebedev, N. N. Stogov and others were also known to Sivers.
The facts regarding warfare, army administration and construction are no less interesting in the diary.
Six notebooks written from 1916 to 1919, now stored in the State Archive of the Russian Federation, will complement and make more voluminous a picture of the Great War of 1914-1918. and the great Russian revolution.
The publication is equipped with an appendix and an indicator of names and is addressed to both historical specialists and all those interested in the history of Russia
