Big fairy tales

The book "Big Tales" included two fairy tales by E. Uspensky: "Fur boarding school" and "down the magic river". The drawings for them were made by the People"s Artist of Russia Viktor Chizhikov. One of these stories is written in the style of Russian folk tales, in it you will meet Baba Yaga, and Koshchei immortal and many other heroes of Russian folklore. Another is a story about children from an ordinary Moscow school who suddenly face children from a different civilization. The novel is united by the firm belief of the writer that modern children in any, even the most fabulous, circumstances will be able to cope with difficulties and will always fight on the side of the good.
