The task of this book is to unite, if possible, all the texts of Leo Rubinstein written in the "card" manner - a specific genre developed by the author in the early 1970s and made it one of the largest figures of Russian literature of modern times.
The publication is based on materials from the personal archive of the author, as well as from the archives of Mikhail Aizenberg, Yuri Albert, George Witte and Sabina Hansgen, Irina Nakhova, Galina Ulyanova and the Moscow Archive of New Art (now in the collection of the Perm Museum of Modern Art) The book is organized according to the chronological principle, while in a number of texts without special reservations, the later author’s edit is taken into account, made in the preparation of the collections" regular letter "(1996, 2012) and" Home music ”(2000).
