The collection by Tatyana Ildimirova "Beyond the Horizon" includes two poignant stories that tell exactly about such moments. Sixteen-year-old Dasha from the story "140 Beats per Minute" dreamed of celebrating graduation with her classmates in a year, getting into college, and going to Brazil. But all plans were dashed by two lines on a test. Realizing this is a catastrophe, but the scariest thing is not living up to her parents' expectations. How will Dasha and her beloved Dima cope with these trials? What awaits them? Asya from the story "Beyond the Horizon" was having a good time celebrating her best friend Yana's birthday, but a tragedy in the city divided her life into "before" and "after." Misfortune cut short the lives of many people, affecting Asya's close circle as well. Now the girl is looking for answers to questions: How to support a friend who lost her brother? Why did this happen? And how to continue living on? Tatyana Ildimirova was born (in 1981) and lives in Kemerovo. She is a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, a finalist of "Kniguru" (2019), and a laureate of the International Voloshinsky Literary Contest (2019).
