Burrhus Frederic Skinner (March 20, 1904 - August 18, 1990) was one of the most influential psychologists of the 20th century. In 2002, the American Psychological Association ranked Skinner as the most outstanding psychologist of the 20th century. Even today, he continues to hold top positions in various rankings. Skinner's works have been criticized both during his lifetime and now. However, despite this, his ideas have influenced and continue to influence various fields of human and social sciences, social research, and the understanding of ongoing processes - from psychotherapy to political philosophy.
