Between naturalism and religion

This book of the most famous German philosopher Yurgen Habermas, who published in 2005, make up work published in various German editions in 2003-2004, and also written specifically for it.
As always, Habermas introduces readers to the circle of the most relevant problems characterizing today "spiritual situation of time". We are talking about two opposite trends: more and more widespread "naturalistic, natural-scientific, worldview and obvious revitalization worldwide religious beliefs, politicizing religious forces. Habermas examines the prerequisites of these trends and the "field of stress" itself between naturalism and religion. The task of philosophy, he considers the awareness of the "calls", which carries the same trend. A very important place occupies a discussion of the ability of a modern democratic state to protect its as religious and non-religious citizens, to ensure the conditions for their mutual tolerance and for mutually enriching the "learning process" between them.
