The book of Grzegozh Pzhebinda, a professor at the Russian University of Yagello and a member of the editorial board of the magazine New Poland ", is devoted mainly to the perception of Russian culture in Poland after 1991. The author reflects on the presence in Poland of Russian literature and philosophical thought of the 19th and 20th centuries and tries to answer the question of how much this contributes to the today"s dialogue of cultures and religions in the pan -European space. Separate essays are dedicated to V.S. Soloviev, F.M. Dostoevsky, N.V. Gogol, M.A. Bulgakov, A.I. Solzhenitsyn, V.T. Shalamov, G.P. Fedotov, A.A. Tarkovsky, V.S. Grossman. A number of articles are touched on the problems of a difficult dialogue between Catholicism and Orthodoxy after the fall of communism. In the last texts, the author reflects on the fate of the works of outstanding Polish authors of the twentieth century in modern Russia - A. Vata, Ch. Milos, G. Gerling -Grudzinsky, R. Kaposhchinsky
