A collection of poetic and critical works representing the work of Belgian symbolists in the French language of the last decades of the XIX century. For the first time, under one cover, the poems of the twelve Belgian poets were collected (J. Rodenbach, E. TERN, S. Wang Lerberg, M. Meterlink, I. Zhilken, etc) in the translations of their Russian contemporaries. At the same time, published articles and essays of leading symbolists who are acquainted with the theoretical foundations of the literary movement of the stroke of the ages are given in modern commented translations
