The monograph presents the newest development of the problem of self-regulation. The construct of behavior control is introduced, unlike other approaches, it is focused on the internal individual resources of a person underlying the ability to self-regulation. Conduct control is considered as a single system, including three regulation subsystems (cognitive control, emotional regulation, volitional control), which are integrated, creating an individual self-regulation pattern. The hypothesis of behavior control is developed on the basis of a system-subject approach, which meets the modern principles of scientific knowledge: inter-paraphoria, openness of the construct, systematic, the search for new generalizations that integrate the history of the problem and the demands of new approaches. Extensive experimental results of verification of the hypothesis of behavior control are described: study of the formation of control of behavior in infant, early and adolescence, features of behavior control with varying degrees of aggressiveness of adolescents, studying behavior control in difficult life situations (during pregnancy) The ratio of control of behavior, consolation and psychological protection as representing a single continuum of protective behavior is shown.
The book is addressed to the widest range of specialists in different fields of psychology and human practices
