The book is dedicated to the ideas about the lift in the Japanese consciousness and the attitude of the elderly Japanese to the fact that with age they begin to need help. Unlike the Western world, where decrepitude is seen as a disease, in Japan it is perceived as a special condition called "Boles". In its characteristics, it resembles Alzheimer"s disease and other forms of senile dementia, but the "box" is not perceived unambiguously as a pathology. According to the Japanese, this is a special type of disease that the patient can control to some extent. A study conducted by a stencil in rural areas of the country shows how the elderly Japanese comprehend the state of the “box”, try to prevent or alienate its offensive.
