Gorniy, who had recently suffered under the yoke of temple officials, found himself facing a danger that was unimaginable. When the heresiarch Azar decided to rid the world of its decaying religion by creating a new god from a simple bat, he knew that there were many 'buts' and 'ifs' in his plan. And yet, the consequences of his decision turned out to be unexpected. A 'rift' formed in the fabric of reality, and the Bat Guardian, who was supposed to stop the catastrophe associated with the cataclysm, went out of control of Lugina Zaozyorniy. The artificial deity threatens to punish humanity. His call resounds like a bell tolling: 'I will repay!' - and the forces of evil from all over the world gather under his banners. There are no more miraculous mages, and there is no one to contain the 'rift' that formed as a result of sorcery. Meanwhile, the anomaly begins to change the structure of Gorniy. The 'rift' itself threatens to 'devour' the entire world. And the heroes have less and less time to deal with the two disasters that have struck simultaneously. If they do not succeed, a third force will intervene. And then everyone will lose.
