'Bastien und Bastienne' (German: 'Bastien und Bastienne') is a singspiel by W.A. Mozart in one act based on the opera 'The Village Sorcerer' by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The first performance took place in Vienna at Mesmer's private theater on December 7, 1768. The libretto version by Yuriy Dimitrin was created in 1978 for a production at the Lenconcert. There are no changes to the musical text in this version. This edition, which includes the piano score and libretto, is intended for conductors, directors, and singers of musical theaters, as well as for students and teachers of vocal departments in creative universities, and for a wide range of music and theater enthusiasts.
