This book introduces readers with the basics of work in the Linux operating system at the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL) It is intended for people who are only on the ranks of mastering the Linux system. The book consists of theoretical and practical parts that together make it possible to obtain systematic knowledge about the system and the ability to solve practical tasks. The main emphasis is on the completeness of the disclosure of the topic, while maintaining the conciseness of the presentation.
