The book consists of five chapters. The first chapter of the textbook presents the theoretical principles of wood cutting theory: the concept of the cutting edge, angular parameters and microgeometry of the cutting edge, surface roughness of the processed surface, and cutting modes. The second chapter provides the theory of planing, machine cutting tools, hand cutting tools, and products made of wood obtained during planing: peeled veneer, packaging shavings, roofing materials, and packaging boards. The third chapter of the book discusses the theory of peeling, cutting tools, products obtained from peeled veneer: plywood, laminated products, and packaging. The fourth chapter is dedicated to sawing wood with sawmill frames, band saws, and circular saws. The fifth chapter outlines the milling process and the construction of milling cutters. The textbook is intended for students receiving vocational education in the field of "Wood Processing Technology." 3rd edition, stereotyped.
