The monograph sets out the basics of radiation theory and mechanisms for the influence of irradiation on metals and alloys. The text is divided into three parts, each of which includes individual chapters representing the combined picture of the influence of irradiation on the change in the structure and properties of metal materials. Part I monograph is devoted to the physical processes of radiation damage of metals and alloys during irradiation. The logical continuation of the first part is to study the influence of irradiation on the physical characteristics of metals and alloys in the broad sense of the word. And finally, the third part of the monograph affects the effect of radiation damage to the mechanical and strength properties of metals.
The book is of undoubted interest for specialists in the field of radiation materials, teachers, students and graduate students of specialized universities
