The book is dedicated to the current issue of the application of psychotherapy in various fields of medicine. The monograph can be used as a guide both in the practical work of a psychotherapist and a physician of another medical specialty. It provides the basic modern concepts of psychotherapy: rational, suggestive, and analytical, discussing the physiological mechanisms of hypnosis and suggestion. The methodology (tests) for determining the degree of suggestibility and hypnotizability of the patient is described, as well as the technique of hypnotization using methods that target visual, auditory, and tactile analyzers. A special section is devoted to the application of hypnosuggestive psychotherapy in some diseases in the clinics of neurological, psychiatric, internal, endocrine, and dermatological diseases, as well as in surgical, obstetric-gynecological practice in pediatric clinics. The book is recommended for psychologists, psychotherapists, and physicians of other specialties who use hypnosis and suggestion techniques in treating patients.
