The textbook covers issues related to the design of polymer chemistry production, development of project documentation, development of technological schemes, and other issues that arise during the design process. Special attention is paid to the preparation and calculation of material and heat balances of the designed productions, as well as the design and calculation of reactor devices for polymerization and polycondensation. The main and auxiliary equipment of polymer chemistry plants is considered. The structural features of reactors for the production of plastic masses, the influence of the manufacturing method on their design, and details used in the production of main and auxiliary equipment are shown. The structure and principles of operation of equipment for processing polymer materials are described.
