The manual discusses the linguistic methodology in the aspect of the theory of language (general linguistics), taking into account the temporary retrospective and prospects. The course is based on the philosophical and empirical and systemic principles of the characteristics of the object-the language and aspects of its study, i.e. It involves an integrative approach based on the consideration of the linguistic paradigms of the formation and development of the theory of language. The form and methods of presenting the material are due to the concept of a linguistic paradigm, in particular, the structural and semantic paradigm, etc.
