The textbook presents materials that reveal the main morphological and morphometric features of human teeth and dental arches. The basic forms of dental arches in physiological occlusion are described. The relationship between the shape and size of dental arches and the main parameters of the craniofacial complex is shown. Classifications of anomalies in the shape and size of teeth and dental arches are presented. The main methods of studying teeth and dental arches in clinical dentistry, as well as the basics of modeling teeth and constructing dental arches in various forms and sizes, taking into account individual features of the maxillofacial area, are demonstrated. The publication is illustrated with photographs, including those based on original materials. The textbook is compiled in accordance with new educational plans and programs on clinical anatomy of the maxillofacial area, propaedeutics of dental diseases, orthopedic dentistry, and orthodontics (for students of dental faculties of universities), aiming to improve the quality of education in dental prosthetics and complete removable dentures (for medical colleges). The textbook is intended for independent study of the basics of modeling teeth and dental arches for students of dental faculties and clinical residents specializing in "orthopedic dentistry" and "orthodontics," as well as for students of medical colleges specializing in orthopedic dentistry, and serves as a supplement to textbooks on the corresponding disciplines of specialties.
