This manual contains a description of the basis of the technology of obtaining ferrous metals, ferroalloys and foundry production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
In the first part of the study manual, issues of obtaining cast iron by a domain process, as well as the production of steel-converter, Martens and electrostalleaval processes were considered. The required volume provides the physico-chemical bases of metallurgical processes. The second part is devoted to the statement of foundry. The issues of obtaining castings in one-time forms and special ways are considered.
The manual is intended for students enrolled in the direction of undergraduate Metallurgy
