The basic information about oil depots is presented: classifications, information about the composition of facilities, equipment used, and methods of operation. Issues related to measuring the quantity and quality control of oil products, measures to reduce losses, and methods of protecting tanks from corrosion are discussed. Tanks and their main equipment are detailed. Calculations of the main physico-chemical properties of oil products and technical-technological calculations for selecting main and auxiliary equipment for oil depots are proposed.
