Banknotes and coins of Belarus

The reference guide contains an expert description of the Belarusian ruble - the currency of the Republic of Belarus. Banknotes are presented in the guide with a complete description of the design, front and back sides of each denomination, and security features (distinctive features of banknote paper with security thread and watermarks, printing methods, microtexts, as well as other special and machine-readable features). A separate section contains information on commemorative non-regular issues of banknotes, dedicated to special events but still legal tender. The third section of the guide is dedicated to withdrawn and exchangeable national currency notes. The fourth section provides a complete description of the size, weight, metal, design of the obverse and reverse of coins in circulation in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The guide is intended for banking employees, law enforcement and customs officers, employees of trade and tourism companies, as well as entrepreneurs dealing with cash currency.
