The book is a popular presentation of the ancient history and culture of the inhabitants of current Lithuania and Latvia. Its goal is to introduce the reader to myths, traditions and customs that determine the mentality and characteristics of the character of these ancient peoples. Such a acquaintance is necessary for a better understanding of these countries, to maintain and develop good neighborly relations with them. The book, devoid of science, is written in a free manner, in the essay genre, it tells about the gods of the Baltic Olympus, the ancient beliefs and customs of the Baltic, in places preserved to the present and even revived in the neo -language movement of Romov.
