Ballads about Robin Gude were created by the English people not one century, but became a single epic in the XV century. In Russia, they are mostly known for the translation of Ignatia Ivanovsky. Since 1959, his translations were printed in poetic collections and school readings, three times were published separate publications, the total circulation was 1,500,000 copies. Some of the translations entered the Robin Hood"s Adventure Radio (1958)
