Automation of welding processes

A description of the main elements of automation of welding installations is given. The principles of construction are given and examples of the implementation of modern equipment management systems and processes of arc, contact and electron-beam welding. The spatial position control systems are considered the heating source relative to the joint line, automated complexes with microcontrollers and computers to control the quality of the welded connection, as well as the problems of robotization of arc and contact welding.
