Automated system for calculating allowances for mechanical processing of parts. Monograph

The main stages of calculating allowances for processing parts are considered, showing their primary role in material processing. An overview of the theoretical component of the calculations is presented, errors in the formulas are identified, and new formulas are introduced. Using the Python programming language, a program has been developed to calculate the minimum, nominal, and maximum allowances for various milling and turning operations. A separate module has been developed to perform calculations based on specified parameters of the workpiece and part. A plan for further improving the program using advanced achievements in the field of artificial intelligence has been developed. This work is intended for specialists, graduate students, and senior undergraduate students in the fields of Bachelor's degree programs 15.03.05, 15.03.01, and Master's degree programs 15.04.05, 15.04.01 in "Design and Technological Support of Mechanical Engineering Production" (profile "Mechanical Engineering Technology") and "Mechanical Engineering" (profile "Digital Mechanical Engineering"), respectively.
