The proposed disk is the second from a series of electronic teaching aids covering the history of Russia from ancient times to the present day. He covers the history of the Fatherland of the XVIII century. The manual clearly presents not only its socio-political aspects, but also the culture and everyday life of people.
The publication contains more than 2000 illustrations: maps, schemes, documents, portraits of historical figures, scenes of battles, images of cultural monuments, etc. Many illustrations are equipped with comments.
The texts of the manual are extremely brief and are auxiliary in relation to illustrations in character.

The manual was developed in accordance with the State Educational Standard for History and the available curricula.
