On June 21, 2017, Victor Tsoi could have turned 55 years old ... An ordinary Leningrad boy, by the end of the 1980s, became the voice of his generation, and in August 1990 turned into a real legend.
Vitaly Kalgin’s book about one of the most striking representatives of Russian rock, published in the famous series "ZhZL", is the view of the life and work of the founder and leader of the Kino group with a certain distance. The main value of this book is the numerous primary sources (books, publications in the press, television programs), as well as the memories of nearly hundreds of people who knew Tsoi - from parents and close -minded friends to colleagues in the workshop and simply acquaintances. Thanks to this material, the cultural context is truthfully and impartially recreated, in which the history of the entire Leningrad rock tutus of that time unfolded, including the history of life, creativity and the tragic death of the idol of Soviet youth - Viktor Tsoi.
Audiobook precedes exclusive interviews recorded specifically for this project by a journalist, cultural scientist, a well-known Russian Rock figure, former musician "sounds of Mu" Alexander Lipnitsky. The bright and frank memories of Victor Tsoi shared: the guitarist of the group "Kino" Yuri Kasparyan, Russian director and producer Sergei Solovyov, ex-member of the Aquarium group Vsevolod Gakkel, musical critic Artemy Troitsky, leader of the Bravo group Evgeny Havtan, Anastasia Kurekhina, the widow of the leader of the Russian musical avant -garde Sergey Kurekhin.
