Arkady Natanovich and Boris Natanovich Strugatsky are the classics of modern scientific and social fiction. The works of the Strugatsky were published in translations in 42 languages in 33 countries of the world. In Russian, four complete collections of their works were published.

But if “Monday ...” is a cheerful humorous book, then the “Tale of the Troika” is an evil political satire, caustic exposure irony, in which the Soviet bureaucratic system and apparatus of power are ridiculed by means of grotesque and absurdity.
After the publication in 1968, the abbreviated version of the Tales of the Thirty in the Angara almanac was removed from his post, the book was recognized as “harmful to ideological relations”, and its authors were accused of “mocking” over “expensive for Soviet man ideals.
