Korolenko Vladimir Galaktionovich (1853 - 1921) - Russian writer, publicist, public figure, honorary academician of St. Petersburg and Russian Academy of Sciences.
A convinced truth -seeker and defender of the persecuted, Korolenko appreciated in people dissatisfaction with life, constant movement, even if the goal is unconscious to the end. Almost all of his stories are created on the basis of the writer experienced or seen by the writer himself, and in their center is not obedients.
