The Ardis studio brings to your attention three novels - the “Overcoat” of Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol, the “scarlet sails” of Alexander Green and the picnic on the side of the “Strugatsky brothers” performed by Dmitry Bykov - a talented modern prose writer, poet, publicist and literary critic.
"Overcoat" is one of Gogol"s Petersburg novels. She went down in the history of Russian literature as a "manifesto of social equality and inalienable personality rights in any state and rank."
A French diplomat, writer-traveler, historian of literature, member of the French Academy Eugne-Melkhor de Vogue in the article of 1885 wrote: "We all left the Gogol"s overcoat".
