The proposed disk is the fifth of a series of electronic textbooks, covering the history of Russia from ancient times to the present day. He covers the history of the Fatherland of the second half of the XX century. The manual clearly presents not only its socio-political aspects, but also culture.
The publication contains about 1000 illustrations: maps, schemes, documents, portraits of historical figures, photographs of events, images of cultural monuments, etc. Many illustrations are equipped with comments.
The texts of the manual are extremely brief and are auxiliary in relation to illustrations in character.

The manual was developed in accordance with the State Educational Standard for History and the available curricula.
