Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov is a classic of Russian literature of the XIX century, a poet and writer, The night luminary of Russian poetry.
On the disk are presented: the novel “Hero of our time” (1840), the poem “Song about Tsar Ivan Vasilyevich, the young oprichnik and the Udenty merchant Kalashnikov” (1837) and poems of different years.
Hero of our time ”is a real psychological novel, and its appearance is least due to the previous traditions of Russian prose, it only partly continues the natural and natural development of Russian fiction. V.G. Belinsky saw in him “a completely new world of art”, which raised Russian prose to a new step. The artistic discovery, constituting the essence of the fundamental innovation of Lermontov, lies in the in -depth and detailed, almost scientific analysis of the “human soul”.
