"Drama on Hunting" is one of the early stories of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, written in 1884.
The work tells of a person who has lost in this life, immoral and to some extent insensitive, who has become a killer of a woman, to whom he once experienced quite strong feelings. The young flowering Olga from the hut of a crazy old man enters the house of the manager of the local count and then goes all the way: from the beginning to the very end of his moral fall. Graventing to luxury and rich life, she initially does not see the meaning in Mesalliance with an elderly manager and almost immediately after the wedding starts all heavy. It first meets with a handsome investigator, then falls into the arms of the Count-Propes and all this in front of the whole county, not embarrassed by human rumor.
The final of the story is sad, but predictable. Zinoviev kills a young woman, an unfortunate deceived husband goes to hard labor, who was in the wrong place and not at the right time, and the count ends his days, serving as a cab by an investigator who went into the city after the murder of Olga and who remained not punished for his crime.
