Gustav Klimt is the most famous artist of the Austrian Art Nouveau. Rarely leaving Austria, he nevertheless managed to become the legislator of artistic fashion in the world painting of the early XX century. Having received a classic education, the artist in a short time found his own, deeply individual manner of writing. The main subject of his painting was the beauty of the female body, all the canvases are unusual and attractive. They are filled with internal relaxation, freedom and some abstraction from the real world. This feeling enhances a large number of ornaments, which the author, like beads, adorns his works. Klimt"s works are characterized by flat forms, rhythmic lines and decorativeness. The creative fate of the painter was not easy, but his paintings were very successful with the European public. The master received official recognition only by the end of his life, becoming an honorary professor of the Vienna and Munich Academies. The artist is rightfully considered one of the best drawers of his time. The project is intended for specialists and all art lovers.
