Eugene Henri Paul Gauguin (1848-1903) is one of the four greatest masters of post -impressionism. Along with the field of Cezann, Vincent Van Gogh and Henri Toulouse-Latra, he took the lessons of impressionism, and then blew up the style from the inside, creating his unique artistic language. The undoubted giftedness, powerful creative temperament, the independence of judgments and the domineering character - everything determined the leader in Gauger. The artist, incomprehensible and rejected during his life, after death received complete unconditional recognition and is now rightfully the greatest painter of his era.
