Mikhail Afanasevich Bulgakov (1891-1940) - Russian writer and playwright, known all over the world, primarily as the author of the novel "Master and Margarita". If earlier the works of Bulgakov were severely criticized and hushed up, today his works are experiencing repeated reprints, production and adaptation, causing interest in the biography and personality of the author himself.
