The Mandelstam folder, which is being discussed, for 11 years, from 1946 to 1957, kept secretly invaluable and deadly cargo: a complete collection of non-printed poems by Osip Mandelstam.
Sofya Bogatyreva, then - Sonya Ivich, met with a precious folder a teenager 14 years old, when Nadezhda Mandelstam handed her to her father, writer Ignatius Ivich, verses of the deceased husband. Sonya was a full participant in the storage of poems, and in 1954 the widow of the poet bequeathed the right to dispose of the poetic heritage of Mandelstam.
Fortunately, the verses from the folder, who came out of the underground, surviving the persecutors, in the countless editions of the works of Osip Mandelstam gained love and admiration for readers. The victory remained with the word.
