On the disk, a cycle of stories by Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev “Notes of the Hunter” - familiar from childhood, every competent Russian person is presented.
Small stories and essays, on which he himself did not have great hopes, brought Turgenev real glory. Neither the author nor the publisher foresaw success, but the success was unusual. In the article “A look at the Russian literature of 1847”, Belinsky wrote that in this “little play” “the author went to the people from a party with which no one had yet visited him.” The household ferry with Socratic “Persons” and “Idealist” Kalinich was no longer simple representatives of their “environment”, like the writers of the “natural school”, but by the national types that Turgenev developed in other essays. The ferret and Kalinch, like two poles of the peasant world, attract other Turgenev men to them: the truth -like Kasyan from the story, the careless tramp Yermolai from and the Jacob Turks resemble Kalinch. The worst features of the chore is inherited by a bourmister Sofron, who is shamelessly robbing the peasants that he had hardened - “Burmister” ”, and the best is the one -year -old Ovsyannikov, to whom everyone goes for help and advice. Thus are formed in the book “Group Images”, which absorb nationwide features
