Kurt Vonnegut-Jr (1922–2007) is an American writer, satirist and science fiction writer, one of the most significant American prose writers of the 20th century. Comes from a family of German emigrants. The plot of the science fiction novel "Cradle for a Cat" (1963) is built around the most dangerous invention of Dr. Felix Honicker-a substances called "ice-nine". Its tiny crystalline, having fallen into any pond, somehow communicates with world waters, can lead to their rapid transformation into ice and thereby cause the death of all living things on Earth. The title of the book was the name of the children"s game (English Cat"s Cradle), during which a thread or twine, worn on the fingers of the players, folds into various patterns. You ask, where does children"s fun? Listen and find out.
